Strengthening the studio’s technical foundation for the next chapter
Stockholm, 26 February 2026 – Independent casino game studio Thunderkick has appointed Fredrik Lagerträd as Chief Technology Officer.
Fredrik joined Thunderkick in 2025 and, in a short space of time, has become a key part of the team. Now stepping into the CTO role, he will lead the studio’s technical direction, supporting continued growth, platform development and long-term innovation.
Although new to the iGaming industry, Fredrik brings a strong background in technology leadership from previous roles outside the sector. His experience spans building scalable systems, leading engineering teams and creating structured, forward-thinking technical environments, something that aligns naturally with Thunderkick’s fully in-house model.
The appointment reflects Thunderkick’s ongoing focus on strengthening its foundations while continuing to push creative and technical boundaries.
