Game & game platform tester

We are on the lookout for someone who is technology savvy, driven for results and is passionate about details, design and awesome user experiences.

As a tester you will need to get your hands dirty. You will organize and perform tests, test design and be responsible for taking ownership of the test results. Your daily job will include testing of game clients, game server, backend and management application and will include both functional and non-functional testing. Focus will be on manual testing but also running and developing automated tests will be a part of your work. You will be a part of a team and participate in the whole game development process, from concept to production.

What you will be doing

  • Design and execute tests
  • Review design documents, environment descriptions and other documentation
  • Communicate with developers and other stakeholders when requirements are unclear or missing
  • Document features and requirements
  • Develop automated test cases to run in tools like Apache Jmeter and/or Selenium
  • Configure test environments
  • Investigate incidents
  • Find and report bugs
  • Develop and make our test process better

Tools you will be using

  • JIRA
  • Internal test tools
  • Network monitoring tools (Charles and Fiddler)
  • Various scripting languages, JAVA-script etc.
  • JMeter, Selenium or similar
